PRIME TIME Workshops Stimulate Teachers’ Sharing Across Cultures

The PRIME TIME Family Reading Time and PRIME TIME Preschool bi-annual training workshops took place on Saturday, January 16, at the Louisiana Humanities Center at Turners’ Hall. Nearly 100 new team members descended upon New Orleans to engage in intensive instruction and practice on the PRIME TIME methodology and program implementation strategies. Participants from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, and Nebraska learned from experienced consultants and veteran PRIME TIME staff.

PRIME TIME Training workshops included an intense review of the program methodology, planning strategies, and implementation techniques. By all accounts, both trainings achieved the goal of preparing the newest group of team members for their programmatic roles in 2016! And as always, the workshop was a fun and enlightening experience for all.

Stay tuned for information on the July 2016 training workshops. In the meantime, questions about workshop and upcoming training opportunities should be directed to the PRIME TIME staff.
