The LEH is proud to announce a new partnership with Louisiana Seafood Promotion & Marketing Board, a division of the Lieutenant Governor’s office, to support a special section in the fall issue of Louisiana Cultural Vistas. The issue focuses on the coastal culture of Louisiana, and the seafood industry, which continues to play a vital role in the culture and economy of the state. The special section will include stories on some of the businesses and families that make the industry thrive.
New Orleans photographer Frank Relle’s photo essay reveals stunning night scenes of Louisiana’s wetlands, from a perspective rarely seen by visitors or even natives.
“We appreciate the opportunity to work with Karen Profita and her amazing staff at Louisiana Seafood,” said LEH VP of Content Brian Boyles. “It’s hard to fathom the size and importance of the seafood industry without first understanding the lives of the people who support it. Our writers and photographers have produced fascinating new features on these Louisianans.”
