Bright Lights Silent Auction Starts with Fine Dining

On Thursday, May 10th, the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities celebrates our 2018 awards recipients at the Bright Lights Awards Dinner. Today we kick off our 3rd annual Silent Auction. Destinations, artwork, and dining are all part of the offerings. Let’s start with food.

Marcello’s Baton Rouge

Visit Marcello’s newest restaurant for a 5-course dinner for 8, with a special wine pairing. A three-week advanced reservation is required.

Value: $1,500

Opening bid: $800

Fine dining at home with Chef Ken Smith

Smith, formerly executive chef at Upperline in New Orleans, will join you and five guests for a special food and wine experience. Sit back and enjoy in the comfort of your own home. The dinner is available on Friday nights in June or July.

Value: Priceless

Opening bid: $650

The auction also includes several options for wine lovers, courtesy of LEH board chair Brad Adams. Looking for a 1976 Camille Giroud Corton Les Bressandes Grand Cru Bourgogne? A Magnum of 1987 Clos Duval Reserve Napa Valley Red Wine? We’ve got the silent auction for you!
