See “Purchased Lives” on Tour Throughout Louisiana

“Purchased Lives: The American Slave Trade from 1808 to 1865,” the traveling exhibition produced by The Historic New Orleans Collection and the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities, continues through today at the Cane River National Heritage Center in Natchitoches.

The exhibition will open on January 2 at City Hall in Bunkie. The initiative is presented by Entergy Corporation, with additional support provided by the National Park Service, the National Endowment for the Humanities, and the Kabacoff Family Foundation. Click here for more info on the tour.
